Calling all Literary Agent. Digital Broadcasting Entertainment, LLC is seeking a Literary Agent.
• Represents the business interests of writers and their written works.
• Acting as business-minded intermediaries between creatives and book publishing houses.
• Developing and sustaining long-lasting relationships with writers, literary consultants, and editors.
• Composing confirmations, edits and updates to written content.
• Negotiating favorable production deals on behalf of writers for major networks.
SKILLS NEEDED
Searching for a professional that can use:
• Bachelor’s degree in English language or literature, journalism, or a related field is preferred.
• Proven experience working as a literary agent.
• Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong networking and negotiation skills.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Exceptional reading, writing, and editing skills.
• Effective communication skills.
• Detail-oriented and persuasive.
